Gordon Brown will share how the Home of the Innocents found a new home at the former Bourbon Stock Yards and the economic and development influences the Home of the Innocents created as the first large scale financial investment in the east Market Street area.  David Wicks will discuss the importance of Beargrass Creek whose South Fork runs through Butchertown and originally ran through downtown but was rerouted in the 1850s. Father Sanchez will discuss how St. Joseph Catholic Church supports and has evolved to meet the changing needs in the neighborhood. Light refreshments will be served at 5:00 pm allowing participants a chance to network.  The presentation will be from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm.
