Description

Please join us for the opening of our latest exhibit, Continuity of Care: Transforming Jewish Hospital for Modern Louisville, curated Abby Glogower and Lynn Pohl.

Louisville’s Jewish Hospital opened in 1905 with a joint mission of patient care and education.  Half a century later, it moved into new state-of-the-art facility in the city’s rapidly developing downtown area. This exhibit explores Jewish Hospital’s growth from a charitable community institution into a multi-specialty medical center at the heart of modern Louisville. The opening will be held from 5:00-6:30 p.m. and will feature light refreshments and short remarks from the curators.

Curators and Filson staff will be available to answer questions about the items on display and the history behind them. This event is free and open to the public.
