Description

The Filson Historical Society is thrilled to partner with the Kentucky Opera for the annual Music Under the Trees concert at Oxmoor Farm. The Kentucky Opera Studio Artists will serenade participants with longstanding favorite opera highlights in the relaxing and picturesque atmosphere. Please join us for an evening of music, food, and fun! 

Advance tickets for Music Under the Trees are $15 for Filson members and $18 for non-members. Tickets the day of are $20 for everyone. Children 12 and under are free. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged. Participants are encouraged to bring chairs/blankets, a picnic dinner and drinks with them and enjoy an evening of music under the trees of Oxmoor Farm.

The Barbara and Halsey Sandford Studio Artist program at Kentucky Opera brings young professional opera singers to Louisville to train and expand their experience and features some of the most talented upcoming professional voices in North America.  The program provides unique training experiences and guidance for emerging opera artists at multiple stages in their education. Member Special – Share your love of history and enjoy a lovely evening of music under the trees on us! Refer a friend to join the Filson Historical Society between July 25th and September 27th and receive 2 free tickets (minimum $30 value) to the Filson’s Annual Music Under the Trees Concert on September 28th, 2018 at Oxmoor Farms.
