Description

Back by popular demand, The Monarchs will be the feature band in our annual Music Under the Trees concert! What started as a high school band soon launched into a long and successful performing and recording career, which includes touring with Dick Clark and his Caravan of stars and working with many of the icons of the early years of rock & roll. The Monarchs have been in demand both locally and nationally, with their 1964 hit “Look Homeward Angel” going to number one in major markets and remaining on the Billboard charts for an astonishing 13 weeks.  Today, The Monarchs continue to be in demand and perform regularly with other national recording artists. Their music spans generations of fans and is a real “get out of your seat” entertainment experience.

Advance tickets for Music Under the Trees are $10 for Filson members and $12 for non-members. Tickets the day of are $15 for everyone. Children 12 and under are free. Advance reservations are strongly encouraged. Participants are encouraged to bring chairs/blankets, a picnic dinner and drinks with them and enjoy an evening of music under the trees of Oxmoor Farm.
